TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT. APPROACHED.
Get Approached and the Approached Membership.

1. About these Terms
These Terms of Engagement set out the agreement between you and Approached (ABN 99 726 525 342) for either of the two productised services Approached offers: Get Approached (the senior career positioning service described in Part B of these Terms) and the Approached Membership (the standalone reciprocal network described in Part C of these Terms).
Approached is an Australian-registered business serving senior professionals across multiple markets including Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Singapore, Japan, and other markets where Approached is active at the date of purchase.
By making your investment in Get Approached or in the Approached Membership, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you are purchasing on behalf of someone else, or with the financial involvement of a partner or third party, you confirm that you have the authority to enter into this agreement and that all parties involved in the decision have been informed of these Terms.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
Approached means the business operating under ABN 99 726 525 342.
Get Approached means the productised positioning service described in clause 3 below.
The Membership means the Approached Membership described in clause 13 below. The Membership is included as part of Get Approached and is also available as a standalone product. The Member fee schedules differ depending on which path the Member enters through, as set out in clause 16.
Member means an individual who holds a current Approached Membership, whether by purchasing Get Approached (which includes 12 months of Membership) or by purchasing the standalone Membership.
Founding Member means a Member who purchased the standalone Approached Membership within the first 100 spaces released, at the Founding Member rate.
Consultant means the Approached representative assigned to deliver your Positioning Assessment and produce your Deliverables. Approached reserves the right to assign and re-assign Consultants as appropriate.
Deliverables means the documents, drafts, designs, research, and frameworks produced as part of Get Approached and provided to you via the Approached Google Drive.
Positioning Assessment means the structured 1-hour working session with your assigned Consultant that is the first stage of Get Approached delivery.
The Guarantee means the Get Approached Guarantee described in clause 9 below.
Local Currency means the currency in which you are invoiced, determined under clause 6 below based on your billing region at the time of purchase.
You / your means the individual buyer named on the Get Approached purchase or the Member named on the Membership purchase.
PART B. GET APPROACHED.
3. What Get Approached includes
Get Approached is a productised positioning service delivered remotely over five business days from the Positioning Assessment, plus 12 months of Membership.
Included.
The Positioning Assessment. A 1-hour structured working session with your assigned Consultant to capture your level, scope, target band, target compensation, and the conversations you want to be in next.
The Position pillar. LinkedIn profile fully rebuilt (Headline, About, Experience, Featured), executive narrative, resume rebuilt and aligned, cover letter with AI customisation prompts, three banner designs delivered as LinkedIn-ready files, photo treatment to LinkedIn-ready standard.
The Signal pillar. Calibration of how your level, scope, and impact are read across the surfaces hiring leaders check.
The Target pillar. The Decision-Maker Map. 20 target organisations researched against your values and target compensation, 80 named decision-makers identified across those organisations, including role, reporting line, and the angle to approach each one.
The Relationships pillar. Senior outreach drafts written in your voice for each of the 80 contacts, follow-up sequences, response templates, and a 30-day outreach calendar.
12 months of Membership, as described in Part C of these Terms.
The Get Approached Guarantee.
Deliverables are provided as a shared Google Doc on the Approached Google Drive within five business days of the Positioning Assessment, subject to your timely provision of any information requested during the Assessment.
All delivery is remote. Get Approached is operated as a fully distributed service across the markets in which Approached is active.
4. What Get Approached does not include
Get Approached is not a recruitment service. Approached does not place candidates, represent candidates to employers, charge employers for introductions, or earn placement fees of any kind.
Approached does not guarantee interviews, job offers, salary outcomes, or specific roles. Approached does not have privileged access to unadvertised roles, executive search mandates, or retained recruitment briefs.
Approached does not provide psychological assessment, redundancy outplacement services, immigration advice, employment law advice, financial advice, or tax advice. Where any of these are relevant to your situation, you are responsible for engaging the appropriate qualified professional separately, in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
Approached does not log into your LinkedIn account, send messages on your behalf, or operate any of your personal accounts. You retain control of your own LinkedIn account, email accounts, and any other personal channels at all times.
5. Eligibility for Get Approached
Get Approached is built for Head of and Director level professionals (or local equivalent) in senior corporate organisations, with at least 10 years of experience at senior management level.
Approached reserves the right to decline any Application or refund the full investment within 7 days of the investment being received if, in Approached's reasonable assessment, the buyer is not within the eligible profile and Get Approached is unlikely to deliver value.
This is the only circumstance in which refunds are issued under Part B of these Terms.
6. Investment and payment for Get Approached
Pricing is set in the buyer's Local Currency, determined by the billing region nominated at the time of purchase. The pricing table at the date of these Terms is as follows.

The higher total on payment plans reflects the flexibility of deferred payment. It is not a discount on the pay-in-full investment.
Your Local Currency at purchase is determined by the billing address on the card used to purchase, or by the region nominated in your Application. Buyers may not switch currencies mid-engagement.
Payment plans are binding. Once the first payment is made, you commit to the full payment schedule in the Local Currency in which the engagement was purchased. Missed payments may result in pause of delivery and Membership until the schedule is brought current. Persistent non-payment may result in suspension of the engagement and referral to a debt collection service. Outstanding balances remain payable in all circumstances except those covered by clause 5.
You are responsible for any currency conversion or international transaction fees applied by your card issuer or bank.
Approached may adjust the published pricing for new buyers at any time. The pricing applicable to your engagement is the pricing in force at the date of your purchase, as recorded on your tax invoice.
7. When the Get Approached engagement commences
The engagement is considered commenced when the earlier of the following occurs.
The Positioning Assessment is held with your assigned Consultant.
The scoping of Deliverables begins (including but not limited to the start of research on target organisations, the start of LinkedIn rebuild work, or the start of any other Deliverable production).
You join the Membership community or attend any Member event.
Once the engagement is commenced, the investment is confirmed and non-refundable, subject only to the Get Approached Guarantee in clause 9.
8. Delivery timeline
Deliverables are produced over five business days from the Positioning Assessment, subject to your timely provision of any information requested during the Assessment.
Delays caused by late or incomplete information from the buyer extend the delivery window accordingly. Approached will communicate any delivery date adjustment promptly.
The 12-month Membership included with Get Approached commences on the date of delivery of the Get Approached Deliverables.
9. The Get Approached Guarantee
The Get Approached Guarantee provides additional work, not refunds, where the stated outcome conditions are not met.
The conditions.
Within 90 days of the date your rebuilt LinkedIn profile is published live AND the outreach campaign produced as part of the Relationships pillar is sent, you will have at least three inbound conversations from senior decision-makers in your target sectors.
If you do not, Approached will at no additional cost.
Rebuild your positioning across the Position, Signal, and Target pillars based on a review of the 90-day period.
Run a second outreach campaign across an additional curated decision-maker list.
To trigger the Guarantee, you must provide proof of implementation and outreach within 100 days of the rebuilt profile being published.

Evidence that the outreach campaign was sent (sent dates, recipient lists, or LinkedIn or email send records).
Documentation of inbound conversations received to date, including dates, sources, and outcomes.
Without this proof, the Guarantee cannot be assessed and additional work cannot be triggered.
The Guarantee does not cover.
Decisions by the buyer not to publish the rebuilt profile or not to send the outreach campaign.
Changes by the buyer to Deliverables that materially alter the positioning produced by Approached.
Outcomes outside the buyer's stated target sectors, target compensation band, or target geography.
Specific job offers, salary outcomes, or particular roles.
10. No refunds (Get Approached)
Get Approached is a productised service guaranteed through additional work under clause 9. It is not refundable once the engagement has commenced as defined in clause 7.
The only refund circumstance is clause 5 (Approached declining the engagement within 7 days of the investment being received).
This is a deliberate structural choice. Get Approached is built for senior professionals who are ready to do the work. Refund-on-request would penalise the buyers who implement and reward the buyers who don't, which is the opposite of what a serious offer should do.
11. Buyer responsibilities (Get Approached)
Get Approached succeeds because the buyer implements. Your responsibilities under Part B of these Terms.
Attend the Positioning Assessment at the scheduled time, having completed the Positioning Report.
Provide accurate and complete information during the Assessment and in response to any follow-up requests during delivery.
Publish the rebuilt LinkedIn profile under your own login. Approached does not log into buyer accounts.
Send the outreach campaign from your own LinkedIn account or email at the cadence described in the 30-day outreach calendar.
Respond to inbound conversations promptly and professionally.
Provide proof of implementation and outreach if you wish to trigger the Get Approached Guarantee under clause 9.
Engage with the Membership in good faith.
12. Assignment of Consultants
Approached operates a network of trained Consultants across multiple regions who may deliver any part of Get Approached on behalf of Approached. The specific Consultant assigned to your engagement is determined by Approached based on availability, fit, and regional alignment.
Approached reserves the right to re-assign Consultants during the engagement where reasonably necessary, including for reasons of availability, performance, or continuity. Any re-assignment will be communicated to you promptly and will not affect the Deliverables you are entitled to under these Terms.
All Consultants operate under Approached's methodology, standards, and quality controls. Your engagement is with Approached, not with any individual Consultant personally.
PART C. THE APPROACHED MEMBERSHIP.
13. What the Membership is
The Approached Membership is a reciprocal network of senior leaders across the markets in which Approached operates. The Membership is included with Get Approached for the first 12 months. The Membership is also available as a standalone product on the Founding Member or Standard Member terms set out in clause 16.
The Membership provides the following structured touchpoints.
A monthly group call hosted by Approached, held remotely on a recurring date communicated in advance. Call times are scheduled to accommodate Members across Approached's active markets.
A Member directory. Members can see who else is inside, what level and sector they operate at, and what they are open to. Connections between Members happen Member to Member, on the Members' own terms.
Invitations to Member events. Events may be in-person, virtual, or hybrid depending on the event format and Member location distribution. In-person attendance is at the Member's cost (travel, accommodation, ticket). Approached does not guarantee in-person events in every region. The first Member event is scheduled for Kyoto, Japan, in Q1 2027.
14. Not a recruitment service
The Approached Membership is not a recruitment agency, employment business, or labour hire provider, and the following statements apply to all Members regardless of how they enter the Membership.
Approached is not a recruitment agency, employment business, or labour hire provider within the meaning of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 (UK), the Employment Agencies Act 1973 (UK), the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) (Australia), or any state-based labour hire licensing regime in Australia.
Approached does not introduce Members to specific roles, recommend Members into hiring processes, or place Members with any employer.
Approached does not receive any compensation, fee, commission, or referral payment from any employer, recruiter, or third party in relation to Members.
The Member fee is paid for participation in the reciprocal network and the structured touchpoints described in clause 13. It is not a fee for job placement, introductions to opportunities, or finding work.
Any opportunity, role, conversation, or introduction that arises between Members arises because Members themselves choose to create it for each other, on their own terms and in their own time. Approached is not the intermediary in any such arrangement.
15. The reciprocal principle
The Membership operates on reciprocity. Every Member is a senior leader looking for the right next opportunity for themselves. Every Member is also actively helping other Members reach out, hold conversations, connect, and build relationships. The two roles are inseparable.
By becoming a Member, you commit to participating in the Membership as a reciprocal contributor: open to conversations, willing to reach out to other Members where useful, willing to make introductions when an opportunity in your network fits another Member, and willing to bring your thinking to the monthly group call.
Members who use the Membership exclusively to receive (and not to contribute) may be terminated from the Membership at Approached's discretion in accordance with clause 19.
16. Membership investment and Founding Member terms
The Membership is offered on two paths.
Path 1. Included with Get Approached. Buyers of Get Approached receive 12 months of Membership as part of the Get Approached engagement, commencing on the date of delivery of the Get Approached Deliverables. There is no additional fee.
Path 2. Standalone Membership. The Membership is also available as a standalone product on either the Founding Member rate or the Standard Member rate.
Founding Member rate. 100 AUD per year. Capped at the first 100 Founding Members. Founding Members hold a lifetime locked rate of 100 AUD per year for as long as they maintain continuous Membership without break. Founding Member status is visible inside the Member directory.
Standard Member rate. Available once the 100 Founding Member spaces are filled. Approached may adjust the Standard rate at its discretion. The rate applicable to your Standard Membership is the rate in force at the date of your purchase or renewal.
All standalone Membership investments are made in AUD regardless of buyer location. The Member is responsible for any currency conversion or international transaction fees applied by their card issuer or bank.
Standalone Membership is non-transferable. Membership investments are non-refundable. Membership ends at 12 months unless renewed.
17. Membership commencement and duration
The Membership commences on the date of investment confirmation (for standalone Members) or on the date of Get Approached Deliverable delivery (for Get Approached buyers).
The Membership runs for 12 months from the commencement date.
Membership does not roll over automatically. At the end of the 12-month period, Membership ends unless renewed. Approached will communicate renewal options at least 30 days before the Membership end date.
Founding Members renewing without break retain the locked Founding rate. Founding Members who allow Membership to lapse forfeit Founding rate status and must rejoin at the Standard rate.
18. Member conduct
Members agree to the following conduct standards.
Engage with the reciprocal principle in good faith. Be open to conversations. Reach out to other Members. Make introductions when there is a fit.
Treat other Members with respect. Harassment, discriminatory conduct, abusive language, and personal attacks are not permitted in any Member forum.
Respect Member confidentiality. Conversations between Members, contents of the monthly group call, and information shared in the Member directory are not to be shared outside the Membership without explicit consent.
Do not use the Membership as a sales surface. Direct sales pitches, recruitment outreach for non-Approached services, marketing solicitations, and similar conduct directed at other Members without prior Approached approval is not permitted.
Do not misrepresent your identity, role, or seniority in the Member directory.
Do not attempt to operate as a recruiter, employment agency, or placement service between Members.
19. Termination of Membership
Approached may terminate any Membership without refund where the Member has materially breached clause 15 (reciprocal principle), clause 18 (Member conduct), or any other provision of these Terms.
Approached may also terminate the Membership without refund where the Member's continued participation is harmful to other Members or to the integrity of the Membership.
Termination decisions are at Approached's reasonable discretion. The Member will be notified in writing.
Members may terminate their own Membership at any time by written notice to [email protected] . Termination by the Member does not entitle the Member to a pro-rata refund.
PART D. PROVISIONS APPLYING TO BOTH GET APPROACHED AND THE MEMBERSHIP.
20. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of all personal information, career history, work product, and writing samples you provide to Approached during the engagement.
Approached retains ownership of all underlying frameworks, methodologies, templates, training materials, decision-maker research methods, and proprietary content used to produce the Deliverables or to operate the Membership.
You receive a perpetual, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Deliverables (where you are a Get Approached buyer) for your own personal career purposes. You may not resell the Deliverables, distribute them, share them with other career professionals, repackage them as your own service, or use them to compete with Approached.
The Decision-Maker Map specifically is provided for your personal use only. Selling, sharing, or republishing the research is a material breach of these Terms.
Membership materials, including recordings of group calls and the contents of the Member directory, are for Member use only and are not to be shared outside the Membership.
21. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential all non-public information shared during the engagement.
Approached, including all Consultants operating under Approached, treats all buyer and Member information as confidential and does not disclose it to third parties, except.
Where required by law in any jurisdiction in which Approached or the buyer operates.
Where you have provided explicit written consent (for example, agreeing to be named as a published case study).
Where information is shared as anonymised, aggregated learnings that cannot reasonably identify you.
You agree to keep confidential the Approached methodology, decision-maker research methods, outreach scripts, Member directory contents, and Membership conversations.
22. Buyer confidentiality between concurrent engagements
Approached works with multiple senior leaders across overlapping markets, sectors, and functions. From time to time, two or more buyers may be operating in the same industry, targeting similar organisations, or pursuing adjacent moves.
Approached treats each buyer's engagement as fully confidential. Your positioning, executive narrative, target organisations, Decision-Maker Map, outreach drafts, and Membership contributions are not shared with, referenced to, or cross-pollinated to any other buyer or Member. The same applies to your assigned Consultant: Consultants do not discuss one buyer's engagement with another buyer, even where they are working with both.
Where two buyers independently research overlapping target organisations or decision-makers, the work for each remains distinct, calibrated to that individual buyer's career history, values, and goals, and confidential to that buyer alone.
If you have specific confidentiality concerns relating to your current employer, your sector, or any other party you wish to keep separate from your engagement, raise them during the Positioning Assessment so they can be addressed before delivery commences.
23. Professional indemnity and insurance
Approached is currently securing professional indemnity insurance appropriate to a productised positioning service and Membership operating across the markets in which Approached is active. Details available on request.
24. Privacy and data protection
Approached collects, holds, and uses personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) of Australia, the Approached Privacy Policy available at approached.au/privacy, and any additional data protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) for buyers and Members in the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) for buyers and Members in the European Union, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for buyers and Members in California, the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) for buyers and Members in Singapore, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) for buyers and Members in Japan, and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions.
By engaging Approached or by joining the Membership, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purposes of delivering Get Approached, providing the Membership, communicating with you, and improving Approached services.
Personal information may be shared with the Approached Consultant assigned to your engagement (for Get Approached buyers) for the purpose of delivering Get Approached. Personal information may also be displayed in the Member directory (for Members) to the extent you have chosen to include it. All Consultants are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations consistent with these Terms.
Personal information may be transferred across borders to the country in which your assigned Consultant operates or in which Approached infrastructure (Google Workspace, Kajabi, Airtable, and similar systems) is hosted. By engaging Approached, you consent to such cross-border transfers, subject to the protections required by applicable law.
You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by emailing [email protected] .
25. Taxes
Where applicable, prices stated in clauses 6 and 16 are inclusive of consumption, value-added, or sales taxes payable in the buyer's jurisdiction, including Australian and New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST), United Kingdom Value Added Tax (VAT), Singapore Goods and Services Tax (GST), Japanese Consumption Tax, and equivalent taxes in other jurisdictions, where Approached is required to collect such taxes.
A tax invoice is issued on payment, in the Local Currency of the engagement (for Get Approached) or in AUD (for standalone Membership).
You are responsible for any withholding tax, import duty, or other tax not collected by Approached at the point of payment.
26. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Approached's total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount paid by you under these Terms in your Local Currency.
Approached is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of employment, loss of opportunity, or emotional or reputational harm arising from the engagement, the Membership, or from the outcomes (or absence of outcomes) following the engagement or Membership.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have under consumer protection law in your jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded, including but not limited to the Australian Consumer Law (for buyers and Members in Australia), the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (for buyers and Members in the United Kingdom), state-level consumer protection laws (for buyers and Members in the United States and Canada), the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (for buyers and Members in Singapore), and the Consumer Contract Act (for buyers and Members in Japan).
27. Termination (general)
In addition to the specific termination provisions in clauses 10, 11, and 19, Approached may terminate any engagement or Membership without refund if.
You materially breach these Terms.
You engage in conduct that is harmful to Approached, to any Consultant, to other Members, or to the integrity of the engagement or Membership.
You provide false or materially misleading information during the Application, Positioning Assessment, Membership registration, or delivery.
You harass, abuse, or threaten any Approached representative or party associated with Approached.
You may terminate the engagement or Membership at any time by written notice to [email protected] . Termination by you does not entitle you to a refund and does not relieve you of any outstanding payment plan obligations.
28. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform under these Terms to the extent caused by events outside their reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, family emergency, technology failure outside Approached's control, government action, pandemic, civil disturbance, or natural disaster.
In the event of significant disruption affecting delivery or Membership operations, Approached will communicate revised timing and, where reasonable, extend Membership accordingly.
29. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
This choice of governing law does not deprive buyers or Members of the protection afforded to them by mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of their country of residence.
Both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by direct discussion before commencing any formal proceedings.
If direct discussion does not resolve the dispute within 30 days, the dispute will be referred to mediation through a mutually agreed mediator before litigation is commenced. Mediation may be conducted remotely.
Subject to the rights of buyers and Members to bring proceedings in their country of residence where required by applicable consumer protection law, the courts of Victoria, Australia, have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter arising under these Terms.
30. Changes to these Terms
Approached may update these Terms from time to time. The version of the Terms in force at the date of your purchase governs your engagement or Membership.
Material changes to Membership terms after the date of purchase will be communicated in advance and will not retroactively reduce the Membership inclusions you paid for.
